State Rep. Laura Devlin was endorsed by the Connecticut Independent Party as their party’s candidate for state representative in the 134th District, which encompasses the towns of Fairfield and Trumbull. The Secretary of the State recently announced Laura Devlin will appear on both the Republican and Independent lines of the ballot on Election Day.
“I want to thank the Independent Party of Connecticut for their endorsement,” said Rep. Devlin. “I have always put Fairfield and Trumbull above any partisan party politics, and that aligns with the Independent Party’s non-partisan problem-solving ideals. This is the approach that we need in Hartford to turn our state’s economy around. I am grateful for the Party’s vote of confidence in me.”
The Independent Party is the third-largest political party in Connecticut and has endorsed several candidates across the state this year. Laura Devlin is running for her third term in the General Assembly. She has twice previously been endorsed by the Connecticut Independent Party.
